Scott – I don’t know if you read these replies, but I have actually gotten the surgery (lens replacement) done for both eyes. I had them removed when I was a little girl, wore those thick Coke-bottle glasses & contacts until I was 18 when I had lens implants put in.
Easiest surgery ever and healing was a breeze. I had my wisdom teeth out that same summer and would take 8 million eye surgeries over getting my wisdom teeth removed.
Plus, I now tell people I have bionic eyes.
