HELP! Justin.tv requires a premium account because “streaming has reached its limit in my country”(The Netherlands). I had to buy the 7,99 iphone app to watch your stream
Please Scott! could you offer alternate streaming sites like ustream or livestream. I bought the justin.tv app and I still can’t watch your show from outside the US
Maybe the people at twit can help/advise you.. I really want to keep watching live…

Adding to what Dennis M. says, I have problems in South Korea with the Frogpants stream. I routinely get the “We have reached the limit for viewers in your country” message from them. Audio stream is fine though.

There’s honestly no reason to talk to anyone like that. The Chat didn’t show up on my browser for a couple weeks, then it just magically appeared. There’s no need to be a douche.

According to the Twitter feed, IRC channel is down, hence why the live chat isn’t showing up. They posted about an hour ago and Scott is working on it.

My goodness. I honestly had no idea about the Sentinel beginning to charge for its blogs, but hey it evidently hasn’t hurt traffic here. Carpe Diem, Ethan. I sincerely think there is an untapped resource for engaging the community and fans via the blog. I don’t know if charging for participation is the answer. The move sounds like a major gaff, and I think the leadership at the Post would be remiss not to see it as an opportunity to revisit and reevaluate the direction of its voice. I personally think the Sentinel blogs sort of took on a cult on their own. The discussion on IRA’s blog has absolutely nothing to do with his commentary, but the regulars have fostered their own relationships and the dialogue has a life of its own. Omar’s blog is the same for the most part. They may see the sheer numbers of participation as a revenue opportunity, but if the traffic here today is any evidence, I don’t think that approach will work.
