Yeah, that’s right, The Frogpants Network has a damn morning show. Launched on January 24th, 2011! Join Scott Johnson & the guy in the booth, Brian Ibbott, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning (most weeks) for the the latest in entertainment, politics, live calls, segments, and MUCH more.
The Morning Stream starts at 7am PST / 10am EST, and is streamed LIVE to the Frogpants Video Feed. A typical episode runs around 90 minutes. You can listen live over your smart phone or Winamp / iTunes with this link. Yes! This sounds excellent — I’ve missed the lack of theme of ELR, so this sounds perfect!
This will be awesome. What can we expect in the way of co-hosts/guests?
Very clever color choices on the logo image btw. Classic!
This is perfect for me in the UK
THAT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!! YOU GOT MY A PODCAST FOR MY BIRTHDAY, SCOTTY J? Aw… Thx man.
Scott I LOVE this idea, and I cannot wait to add this to my regular listening schedule! Thank you for continuing your awesomey awesomeness!
90 min, 4 days a week, Scott you are a machine!
My dreams have come true
Ahh, there’s nothing quite like pee shivers with the Morning Stream..
Just throwing this out there as a guest, but I bet you Brian, O, and/or Turpster will be doing this one
Any thoughts about setting up an icecast server like Leo has for audio streaming? I don’t have a mobile device that supports Ustream or Justin.tv and I’d love to listen to you live on my way into work…
Oh, btw, from listening to your audio promotions at the beginning of all your podcasts it sounds like you will be broadcast from 7 to 10 am every day during the week (or 3 hrs of show a day). 90 minutes sounds more reasonable. Still crazy, but more reasonable
This should be quite good!
@Kevin said “90 minutes sounds more reasonable. Still crazy, but more reasonable
”
Agreed. I would not listen to a 3 hour podcast each day, and to be honest even fitting in 1.5 hours each day may be a stretch, but I will give it a go for a few days.
-D!
Dez! The whole idea is to tune in when you can. No hard and fast rule that you’ll have to take in every possible second.
Looking forward the the premier. BTW, iTunes has the wrong link on The Morning Stream page–it is pointing to frogpants.com/morningstream/ instead of frogpants.com/podcasts/tms/.
Derp!
Oooh! Crap, missed that. Thanks for the headsup!
Great first show!!
One request/criticism: You need more snowman genitalia discussion!
Can’t argue with that!
Great first show guys. Huge pleasure to hear that Ibbot was on the show. Cannot wait to hear how the show develops.
You all should have a movie segment on the show as well. It would be great to have transparency between TMS and film sack. Maybe a review of new movies versus the “lesser” films on the sack.
Cannot wait to hear more!!
Awesome pilot episode! Almost makes me wish I had a longer commute so I could catch the whole show live. Thankfully iTunes was quick to have it posted to the store for download. Nice job Scott, and your associate, Brian!
another hit show! How do you do it scott?
Everything Scott Johnson puts out is excellent. I’m sure this podcast will be no different. *Clicking on subscribe*.
I like the concept and I want to here this podcast. However, my style of listening is pretty much listening to an mp3 when I’m on the computer studying and doing work. You are an handsome man, indeed. But is there is anyway I download just mp3s? (like most podcasts out there).
Would there be any way for someone to post some of the music that is used in the Morning Stream in some sort of show notes or the RSS feed? I enjoyed some of the mashup music from the 1/25/2011 episode and would like to know who that was. I know I can always go back through the podcast and try to find it myself, but I don’t particular remember where it was mentioned so it would take some time.
Thanks!
This is awesome, very entertaining. Please keep up the great work.
Are you makin this available through…. Sigh…. Zune? I love your stuff and want to listen but I can’t find it.
Scott, you are the reason I get strange looks at work everyday. Can’t….stop….laughing. Keep it up.
Catching up — listening to the first show. That breath thing creeped me out big time! I do believe that is the first time I have EVER literally plugged my ears during a frog-cast. Love the show. More politics, less Palin breath.
“Dude, do we have to acronym everything we say?” You know what else we do more of these days? We verb nouns. Language evolution, my friend. But I agree about the acronyms.
Great Scott, thanks for the mp3 format. I listen to my ‘Morning Stream’ on the train.
Thanks Scott

Hi
I just want to say that I really appreciate when you send the live streams at 10 am EST, cause I live in Sweden and that means I can listen to The Morning Stream at 4 pm, which is great before dinner. I usually clean, buy food and then cook with this show plugged in. Thanks!
/ Katie from Stockholm
Thank you very much. You just made my boring desk job so much better. Keep up the good work. Really appreciate you taking your time to do this. WoW1 WoW2 WoW3 @ Godaddy
My Morning Stream smells a bit like asparagus.(I love asparagus)
Hi Scott,
Man! I had the same thing I think! I got all winded and light headed playing 5 minutes of soccer with my daughter, and I had to sit out the superbowl party at my friends house. But maybe my subconscious kicked in, cuz I really didn’t want to go, and I resent anybody peer pressuring me into losing my rest on Sunday. I had to sleep in a lot. Kinda scary, even if it was my subconscious. Could be I’m getting old. Same age as you, but by my own personal standards (my life thus far), I’m old. Keep up the good work. PS. Maybe it was some kind of experiment which altered the earths movement. Sure felt like it. Peace. Rob
I was really excited for this, but Brian Ibbot is too boring for a morning show, makes me want to go back to bed.
I take my last comment back, although Brian does sound perpetually a bit sleepy, the show is fantastic.
I’m loving the morning stream so far. The I-bot “Man in the booth” gag in priceless. Thanks to you, I’m finally pruning some of the lesser podcasts from my listening schedule, RIP. Three cheers for Frogpants!
What’s the website for the head shop weird web you talked about today?
Great show.
Your were talking about Lego the other day and you were not sure if it comes from Denmark or Sweden. Well it is from Billund Denmark and you can in Google earth see the giant lego blocks they have in front of their headquarters.

Thanks again for the best show on the webb, Johan, Sweden.
The kid in “Two and a Half Men” (Angus T. Jones) is not the kid in the Bruce Willis move “The Kid” (Spencer Breslin).
Love the show. Actually I enjoy all the Frogpants podcasts.
Have a great day.
Scott, I appreciated your follow-up to the comments you made about Glenn Beck on yesterdays show. I agree with you that people need to be called out when they make insane comments. Cant wait for the liberal flushing out as it were, I’ll be waiting with baited breath, LMAO. Great show, keep up the good work.
Love The Morning Stream!!
Live in New Zealand so cannot catch it live, wish I could! >_<
TMS gets me up every morning with many laughs! 5/5!
The best part of waking up is the Morning Stream on my Ipod. This show gets me though all my rough mornings. Thanks Scott and Brian for brightening my day.
Unfortunately I start work at 8 and cannot listen, but I stream it on my headphones at lunch. GREAT SHOW!
The 3/7/2011 opening audio was so good and funny, I downloaded in my pants.
Curse you Brian and Scott for creating yet another podcast to fill my ear holes and by that I mean thank you for the awesomeness.
Where do you find show notes ?
