AIE – is there an app for that? Probably a much asked question. Also, what website or software would you recommend for an online streaming Bible study that people could log into and also contribute? (skype, oovoo, tinychat?)
Any chance you can extend this to start looking at Android applications as well?

Scott (or anyone who may know the answer)on one of the podcast here you mentioned a game that was similar to WeRule, but was executed better. I have been looking for a game me and my wife can play together on the iphone. We loved werule for a while but it just didn’t cut it for us in the long run and I was looking for the app you mentioned Scott… I just can’t find which podcast it was. Do you or anyone remember this app? Thanks for the help.

I like Eileen on your show! Your podcast is #1 of those I listen to regularly, and as much as I like listening to the “Scott and Eric” duo, this “Scott, Eric & Eileen” trio is even better. And I don’t think it’s sexist of Scott to say he likes to add the female perspective (I’m a girl). IMO It’s not enough to just add any female voice to a show like yours. There are other related shows I don’t subscribe to because I don’t particularly like listening to/watching the woman who is on the show. It is nice, generally, to have the female perspective on a show like yours where most of the participants are men – and I like Eileen’s perspective in particular.
Could you please include Android? Would be great! Love all frogpants shows!

just listened to an old episode (last december I think) where you mentioned not being able to choose a ringtone for your sms. I just downloaded the very famous (apparently) BiteSMS (which is a jailbroken app) and it lets you import custom made ringtones from itunes. The hardest part is actually to make the ringtone
Could you possible have been any more negative about Spotify on the Appslappy 91 show? It is NOT that bad… geez…
I believe it was this show that spoke about video games being blamed incorrectly for the actions of those criminally active. The thought comes to my mind which will be accepted first: video games or the death of racism. Arguments supporting both are very outdated and wielded by the uninformed, in my opinion.

Just a comment on the podcast app Instacast. I downloaded it after Scott’s recommendation in the last episode over Podcaster. The app is nice but lacks several feature, namely the ability to create playlists, that Podcaster has. Scott you should check out version 4 of Podcaster I think you will find that it is a much more full featured podcast client than Instacast. Also, with regards to the 2Do desktop app. The caller was referring to Todo by Appigo I think, not 2Do.

I upgraded fom Iphone to an high end droid and Im blown away with all the features Android has but the Iphone lacks.
And thera are more apps that are amazing and many of them are free.

I love your shows and have bin enjoying App-slappy but the Iphone is far behind Androids now.
Have you guys tried the onlive app yet? I just played Arkham City and Brotherhood on my XOOM tablet with my pc 360 controller using a $12 micro to female usb adapter from amazon, and it was awesome. It is changing my opinion of gaming on tablets. It is like having a super portable xbox or playstation. I imagine you can do the same with the Ipad, right? Also, Scott, have you played with the new Xyboard tab? It’s super light, has surround sound, gorilla glass, 4G etc. Just wondering after hearing all the android tablet hate on a recent show.
I love puzzles, so I downloaded Blockwick based on your recommendation; however, unless I missed it, I couldn’t find any directions so I ended up frustrated and not playing the game UNTIL another recent AppSlappy podcast when you mentioned the game and “getting the blocks next to each other”. Ah HA! So THAT’S what I’m supposed to do! Yep, now I’m hooked. Thanks bunches!

After the LinkdIn password issue, this reminds me of a standard security practice of using complex (long and bunch of random goodness) and how to deal with that. I like DataVault for this, it iCloud syncs between all devices and even has a PC client that can sync many different ways. There’s also a Mac and Crackberry client if needed, and the password file is super encrypted. This is one of my few 5 Star reviewed apps and keeps your passwords an other data (PIN, combinations, etc) safe and available.
Hi, guys! I was just listening to your review of Zombies, Run! Eric–you can see your distance/time run by clicking on the “Missions” tab at the bottom then on the top right, click “Run Log”–all your runs are there! And, Scott, the reason to be excited about loot is that you use those to build up the town and the faster you build your town, the quicker you unlock new missions.

Really? You’re going to complain about lack of android app podcasts? Go listen elsewhere, this one is fine as an iOS based show.
Love the show and have only one suggestion, please keep the focus on application reviews. I cannot speak for other listeners, but I get my talk about iOS and other Apple issues from other shows and am not interested in other peoples’ personal lives, You guys do great app reviews and that’s what I go to you for, but it takes so long to get to the reviews sometimes that I just skip to the next podcast in my queue. Thanks.

I have an IPhone 4 and since the IOS6 update I have lost all my custom ringtones. I have updated iTunes and I cannot make a folder named ringtones in my library column anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The ringtones are still on my phone and in iTunes but I’m not allowed to use them anymore.

Hey all, I have considered getting the program DubTurbo Beatmaker and was hoping anybody could give me an actual authentic critique of the application. A number of the internet sites that provide appraisals are in fact internet marketers selling the program and so i doubt that the product reviews are truthful.
