Announcing AutoPilot! With Tom Merritt & Scott Johnson

A brand new show joins the family today! Here’s a bit from the AutoPilot site!

AutoPilot is a brand new show, where Tom and Scott watch and dissect early television pilots from some of your favorite classic and modern shows. That sounds like fun on the surface, but it goes much deeper than that.

Very excited about this one! Launch episode coming soon!

I’m sure it will be fantastic, just like all the other podcasts on the FPN!

I’m totally stoked about this show. I’m betting I’ll have as much fun with this as I do with FilmSack and the others. I’m very much looking forward to AutoPilot’s Pilot 🙂

  3. So how many episodes are you required to do before you’re allowed to go back and dissect your own Autopilot pilot? 🙂

  4. J.

Whoa boy — is there a way to submit requests, or questions/points of discussion about pilots you’re covering?

  5. Lysander Spooner

Will you being doing pilots of shows that are just coming out? Maybe guess if the show will ever take off or not. I can see it now NSFW Sweeps Pilot Draft.

Interesting. Are the pilots going to be sci-fi based only?

  8. OsakaJack

What Spiny Norman said. Is there an RSS thingy for us non-iTunes folks?

What’s the RSS feed? Tried to download from iTunes, but won’t play on my second gen iPod Touch. Need to add on my Android phone.

  10. You can get it from the FrogPants Ultra Feed, but a dedicated RSS would be appreciated.

    Great concept.

  16. Almost all of the comments on this weblog dont make sense.

  17. scoobydad

Ok, got the rss feed, but no artwork! Scott’s artwork is great and I’d like to see it instead of the rss “logo”
    Love the show though!

Hey guys, love the podcast, but can you please not discuss spoilers from other episodes of the shows please? I’m all for discussing the first episode (pilot) but with spoilers from further into the show, it ruins the rest of the show if I continue to watch it. A lot from Lost was spoiled or me as I just started watching it.

Thanks for your great work guys!

  19. There are some attention-grabbing deadlines in this article however I don’t know if I see all of them center to heart. There is some validity but I will take hold opinion till I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we would like more! Added to FeedBurner as nicely
